Convoys Wharf experts have met with over 35 community members to give their ideas on how best to use the site while the development is being built. Spaces & Stories, the operators who have been appointed to run a variety of projects, were speaking at the quarterly community forum. Their suggestions, which aim to include local people, range from hosting fashion shows to using it as a film location. Priority will also be given to community led projects and encouraging apprenticeships. Local groups had the opportunity to ask questions to raise questions and voice their concerns.

The Community Forum also heard a presentation by Professor Jalliopi Fouseki from UCL, alongside one of her students, discussing the research UCL has undertaken on how the development could include an inclusive heritage design.

The Convoys Wharf team are looking forward to hosting the next community forum in July. Spaces & Stories are happy to answer any further questions about the meanwhile use and can be contacted via this link: https://spacesstories.com/enquire.
